Abstract
|
|
|
The prevalence of syphilis has been decreased throughout the world due to introduction of penicillin since after 1943. However it is seemed to be increased in incidence of syphilis recently and has become a major public health problem in the many countries.
Especially the diagnosis and treatment of syphilis during pregnancy is very important problem
to pregnant women and congenital syphilis to newborn to be born in future. The literatures on the pregnancy and syphilis are reviewed briefly.
